Readyville is an unincorporated community primarily located in Cannon County, Tennessee, United States. The community was founded by and named for Charles Ready. Downtown Readyville is located along the east fork of the Stones River. Historic Readyville Mill, which was built by Charles Ready in 1812 and once burned to the ground after the American Civil War, has been brought back to life and is open to the public on Saturdays. The mill is located almost directly across from the U.S. Post Office in downtown Readyville. Pilot Knob, approximately half way between Murfreesboro and Woodbury, is a beautiful view approaching the Readyville Community near Kittrell on Highway 70S.
